About us

Welcome to The Chicken Den!

Your Trusted Resource for All Things Chicken!

With 20 years of experience in the world of poultry and backyard farming, The Chicken Den is more than just a blog – it’s a community dedicated to sharing the joy and knowledge of raising chickens. From expert tips to hands-on advice, we’re here to support chicken enthusiasts, whether you’re just getting started or have your own flock.

Our Story

It all started with a small flock of hens in our backyard over two decades ago. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion. After years of learning (and a few hilarious mishaps along the way), we decided to create The Chicken Den – a place where we could share our expertise and experiences with others.

Every post and guide on this site is built on years of firsthand experience, with insights gained from caring for various breeds, managing health challenges, and embracing the joy (and quirks) that come with raising chickens.
